Southampton sailing has one of the best university team racing programs in the country, having 4 high quality teams and extensive reserves. We train weekly at Spinnaker Sailing Club with 2 flights of well maintained boats, along with attending many events throughout the year. The quality of our program was summed up at the British University Team Racing Finals which saw Southampton being the only university with 2 teams making it into the knockout stages, with the 1st team finishing 2nd. 2 teams also took part in the Wilson Trophy, where the 1st team finished 1st university team and the 2nds finished 2nd U21s.
