The yachting scene on the Solent is the place to be and Southampton Sailing is right in the centre of it. Through Southampton Sailing you will be able to get involved in yachting, whether you are a beginner or a seasoned sailor. On offer is access to highly discounted RYA yachting courses and relevant qualifications, as well as opportunities to use the University Yacht ‘Flying Formula’, a Sigma 38, which is very much loved by all.

 

Southampton Sailing are also invested into the BUCS Match Racing and Yachting Nationals which involves training and practice events throughout the year leading up to the Easter Regattas. As part of the club there are plenty of opportunities within all areas in the maritime industry, whether that be working at a marine business or sailing in the Solent on some top new boats like Cape 31s or the Swan Circuit around the Mediterranean.
